Ocular Immunology and Uvea service in MGM Eye Institute provides outstanding patient care in the management of all forms of ocular inflammation and immunological disorders. Majority of patients are referred with uvea, and other inflammatory eye disease such as scleritis, episcleritis, optic neuritis, interstitial keratitis, cicatrizing ocular surface disease, and complications of AIDS.
This service provides treatment of uvea in the form of different form of steroids, immunosuppressive drugs, intraocular implants, and surgical management of cataract and other complications (glaucoma, retinal detachment) related to ocular inflammation.
