Clinical services is the main arm of MGM Eye Institute. This is the arm that provides diagnosis and treatment for the patient. In the beginning of this century, the concept of sub-specialties in ophthalmology was novel, and few centers had developed such focused services. In central India, MGM Eye Institute, for the first time introduced this concept. In the initial phase, the clinical services comprised of Cornea and Anterior Segment services, Glaucoma, Vitreoretinal and Oculoplasty. Later, pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, Neuro-ophthalmology, and Uveitis were developed. Currently, the institute has all the required subspecialties to treat any types of ocular diseases.
