MGM Eye Institute’s Urban Outreach Program is a strategic initiative aimed at improving access to specialized eye care in Raipur and nearby cities. This program emphasizes early detection, timely intervention, and effective management of vision-threatening conditions, particularly among urban populations.
Through regular eye screening camps, we identify individuals at risk, especially those with systemic conditions like diabetes and hypertension—key contributors to diabetic retinopathy and retinal diseases. Our expert team conducts comprehensive screenings, facilitating early diagnosis and intervention to prevent vision loss. The program also addresses common eye conditions, including cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and refractive errors. Patients diagnosed with cataracts receive counseling and are referred for sight-restoring surgeries, while those with other eye diseases benefit from specialized treatment and continued care. Additionally, individuals with refractive errors receive accurate prescriptions and high-quality spectacles at subsidized rates.
