Paediatric Ophthalmology,Neuro Ophthalmology and Strabismus
Dr. Anupam Sahu completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College, Mumbai in 2001. In 2005 he completed his Post Graduate Degree (MS) in Ophthalmology from BJ Medical College, Pune and in the same year DNB in Ophthalmology. He underwent Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai in 2008. He also worked as Comprehensive Ophthalmologist at Sankara Eye Hospital Guntur from year 2005-2007. He joined the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Services at MGMEI in 2008. He was deeply involved in school screening and outreach program under MGM-ORBIS comprehensive pediatric program & at present he is dedicatedly involved in MGM school screening programme and MGM Anjor Mela ( MGM Community Outreach Programme).
Dr. Sahu has been awarded the Dr. AD Patwardhan Gold Medal for highest marks in MS Ophthalmology examination. His interests lie in the management of amblyopia, nystagmus and intermittent exotropia. He has made many presentations at the state and national level conferences.
